A home away from home
Ganali Samaj Society has served Marathi families across Maharashtra for generations — a samaj built on sanskruti, mutual support, and togetherness.
Our story
Ganali Samaj Society has served as a home away from home for Marathi families from across Maharashtra's talukas and districts for generations, bringing people together through Ganeshotsav, Gudi Padwa, Diwali Pahat, and the mutual support that defines a samaj. Our society is run by a dedicated committee of volunteers who work to keep our sanskruti and Marathi bhasha alive while supporting members through life's milestones.
Today, the society maintains an official member directory, organizes seasonal sohala and social programs, and provides a simple way for families to register and stay connected with the community. From Makar Sankranti's haldi-kunku to welfare initiatives, every activity is rooted in one idea: no family should feel alone in this journey — wherever in Maharashtra, or beyond, they call home.
Every family that joins helps keep our Marathi bhasha and shared sanskruti alive for the next generation.

What drives us
Our uddishtye (objectives)
Keep our sanskruti alive
Preserve and pass on Maharashtrian traditions and religious customs — from Ganeshotsav and Gudi Padwa to Makar Sankranti's haldi-kunku — for every generation to carry forward.
Nurture the Marathi bhasha
Keep Marathi alive at home and in the community through language classes, reading circles, and events for children growing up outside Maharashtra.
Support member welfare
Support members through education assistance, free health check-up camps, and welfare programs when a family needs a helping hand.
Bring generations together
Organize sohala, sangeet, and get-togethers around Ganeshotsav, Diwali Pahat, and Gudi Padwa that bring aajji-aaba and nati-natu together.
Maintain a member directory
Maintain an accurate, up-to-date directory of member families from every taluka and district, so the samaj always stays within reach.
Transparent membership
Provide a transparent, admin-reviewed process for new families to join the samaj, with every registration verified by the committee.
Governed by a dedicated committee
Ganali Samaj Society is run entirely by volunteer members of the samaj who give their time to keep our sanskruti alive and our members supported.
